- Step Education relies solely on the generosity of Contributors,
Corporate Sponsors and Grants to fund its program.
Your tax free donation will provide the opportunity for students to participate in a STEP
program. Through your support, today's students will explore career opportunities in a meaningful, thoughtful and constructive manner. Your generous contribution helps to support and expand the STEP program.
- STEP is a registered non-profit organization (STEP Education MA Inc.) registered under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
All contributions made to STEP are tax deductable under section 170 of the Code. STEP is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devices,
transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2103 or 2522 of the Code.
You are Our Next STEP
- As we round out the first phase of the pilot program, we have a moment to reflect and strategize for the next phase of STEP.
STEP's success has resulted in an increase demand for our program both with school partnerships and corporate partnerships.
To date, STEP has been funded internally, through the directors who believe in the program.
It has been through their personal donations of money and time that STEP has experienced the success it is presently enjoying.
We find ourselves at a juncture, where we now must turn to others if we are able to assist STEP to grow and continue to serve
students and companies alike. For STEP to continue to prosper, we recognize the need for a fundraising campaign to help continue what we've started.
- Put a Spring in Our STEP • $50 - $300
With the success of the pilot under our belt, we would like to open up the program and double the amount of students participating in STEP by Spring 2010. Putting a Spring in Our Step will provide the necessary resources for STEP to expand and to allow more students the opportunity to connect with the working world and professionals.
- Build the Foundation of STEP • $350 - $500
The feedback from the corporate partners and students confirm the STEP model of providing career exploration opportunities for students through short informational tours is an effective, manageable and scalable platform to facilitate dialogue between students and professionals. For STEP to continue facilitating these opportunities, the foundation of STEP needs to be strengthened. Building the Foundation of STEP will assist us to add 5 more companies, further expand our website, secure transportation for students and create a film to assist with fundraising efforts.
- Take the Next STEP • $600 - $1000
The natural evolution for STEP to further it's reach is to launch STEP in another school in Boston. STEP has identified three potential schools that are equipped to work in conjunction with the STEP team to present qualified students that would be eligible to join the STEP program. Taking the Next STEP would provide funds for STEP to bring on the next school in the future.
